If I replace the Double Din Nav with a modern head unit. Can I use the old single din radio slot for a climate control panel like this to control the heat and A/C?
Do I need a cable adapter or pin diagram?
Or is it a simple plug and play ?

The NAV is right above the old single din radio. I would put the Climate control in that Radio single din spot. Yes, Sure its long enough. But I don't know what the connectors on the Climate control unit will be? The connectors that go into the Nav unit are the black and the green connectors. I assume that the green is the navigation, as it has fewer wires and the black would be the Climate control, but I am not sure. From a photo, it looks like the back of the CCU. Which I also assume is the same CCU panel that the NON NAV vehicle had then. I attached photos of my vehicle's connectors with original units removed.
