I had to cancel the 16" OEM EX rims from College Hill this morning because I waited and waited and the rims did not come in. So I called them and they said they do not see the order in the system.

Back to square one again. Now, after seeing all the posts, I actually like the MDX 5spoke rims, but I wanted to see if I can pick them up nearby NJ for around $200 each which I can afford. I decided to reuse the existing sensors for now to save some money.

These are the rims that now I am interested in: http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/miscellaneous/p220-depax-michelin-run-flat-tires.html

Anyone know what these rims are called? Where I might be able to order them at? I think $200 each is really a good price.

Anyone knows of a good dealer in CT/NY/NJ/PA that can sell them for about $200? These are the Acura MDX rims that has a detailed instructions about for the TPMS sensors. Thanks!

Thanks Pat. I've already asked about pricing, bit out of my league right now. About $1200 for the total package is what I can afford for the time being. Which was the reason I was looking around for reconditioned 07-08 Acura MDX Sport rims on like (www.wheelsandcaps.com) and I read a bulletin from VT DMV that warns potential buyers of structural integrity issues with some reconditioned wheels. So now unless I know no work has been done to the wheels, I would buy them new.

Wow, never knew that getting some nice wheels were this hard!

I hear you. I was looking for a set of wheels on my 03 TL. I found a set of TL-Type S wheels after much searching and that was not a great experience either.

Good luck in your searches.

Don't give up. I too was looking for the MDX sport wheels at a good price. Couldn't find a deal until I ran across some 2008 MDX Tech wheels on craigslist for $250.00 for all four. Very minor scratches. After getting these installed with brand new Goodyear comfortTred Touring tires, I'm thoroughly pleased

why not

just go with the acura RL wheels?

we have a 2006 touring and the TPMS in the RL's are the same part # as the ODy...within a few blocks of driving, the TPMS calibrated with our ODY's computer and worked just fine...

i ended up finding the RL wheels on eBay from someone in OH and believe the entire 4 wheel deal with shipping to Las Vegas, NV oncly cost me $450...(no rubber on the RL wheels)

i think they look pretty good...they're also 5-spoke

Another idea...

I'm in the same boat Dieseldriver...but in chicago...I got a good idea off of this site as well...I've been calling around to local acura/honda dealers for any "take-off" rims they might have laying around...don't say they're for a depax though, then they get all bent out of shape about it....

Waiting to hear back from a dealer tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes....it's worth a shot and more proactive then waiting for it to come up on ebay or craigs...

good luck...let me know how you end up...I, too, am looking to do this around $1k out the door (rims, tires, sensors) even if I have to visit a couple junk yards for take off rims. I bought a 07' touring two months ago and the tires are getting pretty worn.
