Thanks! My toy equalizes the minivan de-macsulinization (not that I ever had issues with it). And it achieves better fuel economy too. :stupid:
Don't have to look to hard to find something to out perform the Oddy in the mpg dept

I was just baiting you. But it does make 2 mpg better than my Ody, and that's with "spirited" driving.

Be interesting to see the M3 go up vs. the "home grown" 200SX....similar hp / torque / 0-60 / quarter mile times.

200SX????? That's not a 240SX?
yer one of us europeans :)stupid: ) decided to call your version (the 240sx) a 200sx over here, even though you guys had a 200sx that looks totally different to the silvia's, the only clever thing he/she did was swap out the motors as standard :D
basically the 240sx = 2.4 n/a (ka24de) 155-160bhp (i think)
and the 200sx (uk) = 2.0 turbo (sr20det) 197bhp
and the silvia in japan = either engines
so all have the exact same s14 bodies just different engines
a lot of guys there in the usa swap out the 2.4 motor for a jdm 2.0 turbo motor (205bhp) because of the extra power and ease of upgrading performance parts
sorry for boring you with the explanations :p

Who needs traction control? :D

The M excels in the twisties, not so much straight line racing.

my friends M-tech has a button to turn the TC off so best of both worlds really, yours probably has too :)
mine, suprisingly, isn't to bad on the twisties, i've put a few 4wd and front wheel drive cars to shame lol, but straights are where it comes into its own :D love it

Thanks! Got it used after doing tons of research for a "hobby car" a few months ago. The price on these machines has gotten waaaay down from the original sticker price due to the flagging economy.

I'm a member of e46fanatics but barely so, more active on m3forum.net (and the guys there frown on e46fanatics).

Yes, the M3 ZCP does have an M track button. Only used it once since I haven't tracked it yet. I have turned stability control off just for kicks and also to do launch control. Nothing beats sub-5 second 0-60 times!
