Don't do it. It's plastiwood (read fake). IMO a synthetic kit is not worth $150 US.

I would get a real wood kit if I were in your position. They look much better. I would search for other sellers who sell real wood kits on Ebay and e-mail them asking if they have any kits for the Ody.
Almost all will ship it to us in Canada if we pay the extra. I think my shipping cost was around $14 US from So Cal for my kit.

I think I am going with the same people that made yours - 9 piece kit for $150US, real exotic wood - and I do not want the full kit for doors, roof, tray, etc. anyways. (Not exactly the deal you got!)

What wood-type and colour is your kit - it looks like a deep burgundy burl wood?

To be honest I didn't expect to see my kit on Ebay for that price when I got it. I was just there at the right time.

Anyway, mine is a exotic burl. It does have a slight burgundy hue to it but not as much as how it came out in the picture. I would say it's a bit more brown than burgundy.
$150 is a good deal even for the 9 piece kit, I think they sell that for like $250 on their website.
I'd say go for it, it's very nice. I get a lot of compliments from other people too.

Thanks DDakRT - I found your contact info in a previous post and used the the same seller - Dorene.

I got the 9 piece, Real Brazilian Rosewood for $139 with $18 shipping.

The Wood Dash Website wanted $150 and $24 shipping.

Clock is ticking - we'll see how long this takes....

$157 including shipping. That's a great deal.

Dorene still sells on Ebay? I could find her about two months ago. Anyway it should only take about 1 and a half week.

Post some pics when you're done.

Received my dash kit today - 4 weeks after ordering it. I was getting annoyed waiting but I guess 4 weeks is not so bad - it just SEEMED like a very long time. (Tha time included order processing, manufacturing, shipping, and CDN customs, so not too bad)

The kit is gorgeous - beautiful - stunning -certainly better that I was expecting. The wood grain and the colours in the Brazillian Rosewood have the intensity of fire frozen in ice (Valentines Day = emergence of poetic spirit)
Even my digtal camer cannot do it justice. Unless I completely *F* up the install I think I am going to be happy.

I took some pics of the kit in the box, and I will photo-document the install this weekend.

DDakrt - I emailed you some pics.

Huh? I didn't get them PD.

I am pretty sure I got my kit in about 2 weeks, it's probably because of Sept, 11 that it took so long for you.
