Dealer Pain Sealant

I don't know the specifics about your dealer's product, but there have been similar posts on dealer sealants in this forum. What I recall is that the consensus is that they are not worth it and may cause other problems.

I would ask what product they are using. It doesn't sound like it's anything special. For me, putting approx 14,000 miles per year on the Ody, that is waxing (Zaino-ing )it every 6 months. I usually put a couple coats of Zaino in the fall and in the spring.

Also, why are they going by mileage? Some people may only put 7K miles on in a year, while others may put 30K+.

Hmmm...saw the title of this topic and thought somebody finally found a cure for the miseries inflicted by car dealers.
