Just got mine back from the body shop today for scratch repair. If your fingernail can catch the scratch (if the scratch goes all the way through the color), the solution is to respray the panel. For mine, almost $900 to respray right sliding door and the panels just behind it.

bmutuc, If I recall you have a TW? I got deep scratches on the side door and rear also. My bandage was, surround the scratchwith 1/4 inch blue plastic automotive painters tape and fill in the area with Honda's touch-up paint and reapply till scratch is filled and rub out. The body shop is the best. And there are companies the specialize in scatches. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your Ody being scratched. It's awful thinking someone did that on purpose but I wouldn't be surprised. With our previous MPV, some idiot at the parking lot in the mall used a key and scratched up the whole passenger door in the rear. Since I have gotten my new Ody a few wks ago I have been paranoid that somebody jealous or insane might want to do something to it. It's so new and shiny looking it stands out which freaks me out.
Anyhow, sorry to hear about your scratch and I hope you'll get some advice here on how to fix it or make it look abit better.
Good luck.

Deep Scratches - Best to ask a good car dealer who they use for this repair on used cars. There are two professional people with a van with paint mixings and scales to weight the proper amounts to get the color correct in the Greenville SC area. In many cases they can correct so you can't tell.

Our 01 Silver Starlight Odyssey is in worth condition. My wife parked at the food market. Somebody scrapped out some paint from the bottom edge of the bumper. It peel off the paint about the size of our little finger. It is possible that somebody careless when get in or out of the parking lot or they have an old car and careless about damaging other new car around it. What is the solution?

We try and take a park smart attitude as I have had keyed cars in the past. Parking a little farther out in the lot at the mall or grocery store to avoid carts and door dings. Also not parking next to old American cars with "made in the USA" bumper stickers with beer cans in the dash. Again, not always feasible, but an ounce of prevention....
