...the power sliding door handles on the Odyssey feel like they are backward (or I should say forward)?

Usually sliding door handles on vans pull towards of the back. But these pull like the front doors. And yes I know it doesn't matter because they are automatic. But it feels a little awkward too me.

I wonder if its the same on the LX? If is is, does it mean its easier to close than to open?

LX is the same. It feels strange the first few times you go to open them. When people new to the van try & open the sliders, they pull the wrong way. Sometimes I'm worried that my son's soccer buddies are going to tear the door off. And your right, closing the door is a more natural movement. Boy do they slam easy!
