The block heater is not a standard item on the Cdn model. It is a dealer installed option that costs $94.71.

If there is no plug near the grill then you probably don't have the block heater. I don't know how cold it gets in the winter where you live, but you probably don't need one anyway. I am in Halifax, NS and we get some nights below 0F here and I never needed a block heater.
