Can we disable the remote from opening the windows when you press the open door button twice and hold it a tad too long?

Inadvertently we've been opening all the windows just a tad because we hold the button too long (like 1 sec. too long).

We prefer not to open all the doors every time we press open once, but guess that would be the alternative.

In the third gen you could change the remote to unlock only the drivers door on the first press and the rest on the second if you think it would help. As far as I know there is no way to disable the window feature. I'm not exactly sure whether you want all the doors to open with one push or just the driver, but the way you used to have to switch between them was by pushing and holding the lock button and the sliding door button beneath it (passenger side) at the same time till the light on the fob blinked either once or twice. Hope it helps.

In our 2011, we can change the unlock of the driver door or all doors on the first press in console menu (MIL).

We've changed it so far to open all doors just to not have to press it twice and accidentally partially open all the windows.

Our 99 Maxima has the windows roll down feature and so does the 2007 oddy. It takes a quite a bit longer to roll the windows down v/s a short press of the button (even when you press it twice) . Perhaps you can try and change your fob button pressing style?

Guess we can learn to press it more lightly, but with the kids and all ... we usually (more than 80%) have to open all doors anyway.
