I've had a loud exhaust leak for a while now.
I've narrowed it down to the front:
The exhaust components directly below the engine seem to be in good condition. I haven't had any CEL.
I suspect it is some sort of leaking joint, but I haven't been able to locate it. Hoping it is an easy fix.
Any ideas?
Update:
Sounded great, but got it patched at a muffler shop.
The exhaust smell was caused by a leaking valve cover gasket.
I've narrowed it down to the front:
- The interior smells strongly of exhaust fumes when in fresh-air mode
- Hiss near the engine when the exhaust is connected to a shop-vac
- No leaks felt under the car
