Good question dMax. I have no idea whether or not it does but I see no reason why it wouldn't. All the TCS or ABS does is compare wheel speeds. If one wheel accelerates way faster than the other, the system should read that and kick in.

Anyone care to find a nice slippery road and punch it while in reverse?

I may find out tomorrow morning. I'm parked nose-down in my driveway w/some wet stuff that's freezing as we speak (I type). I'll be backing out, or trying to, at about 7:30 so look here for an update.

We got a dusting a week or so ago and I definitely heard the TCS kick in when I tried to backup out of my driveway which slopes pretty steeply up to the street.

Thanks. I was able to back out using last night's tire tracks so I didn't find out for myself.

yep - it sure does work in reverse. Also works on a 1995 Bonneville
