OK, so I picked up my new van on Friday. Took it to the mall Saturday and ran it right over a curb! I'm obviously about the millionth person to run over this particular curb, which juts out at an odd angle, but I'm still mad at myself. The damage consists of a crack in the black plastic sill panel, under the bottom of the pass door. A little super glue will fix it good as new, but darn it all! At least it's christened now!

Don't feel bad, Scott. If that's the worst you do, you're not doing that bad. I pulled out of a parking spot the other day and totally missed a sign (visually, at least!) that was sitting on the right rear quarter of my van. The edge of the sign scrapped down the side of the van from the tail light assemble forward to the top of the wheel well. The paint looked, at least at the time, pretty bad. Fortunately, it didn't put any dents or deformations in the body work itself. Some of it buffed out but it'll cost me $468 to get it repainted.

I was so PO'd at myself it wasn't funny.

That's life I guess and mine certainly could have been a lot worse too!
