My wife and I bought a 2008 Odyssey EX-L with RES and Nav a few weeks ago as-is. The driver side map light bulb was out (or so we thought). I finally got the cover off and figured out that the bulb was fine (works in the passenger side). So now I am trying to figure out what is wrong and find a fix.

It doesn't seem to be a problem with the switch because the light won't come on when we turn on the master switch either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks. Going into mechanic for new tie rods, will have him check it out.

Ours is intermittent these days. Going to try to have it replaced under warranty.
