I tried searching the forum and couldn't find anything specific to this issue.

Recently, my wife's 2002 Odyssey's passenger window stopped rolling down, it won't roll down through the driver's switch or the passenger switch, instead only a clicking sound. The dealer told her that it was the motor, but I wanted to check with the board to see if anyone had encountered a similar issue. I was surprised that they thought it was the motor, since when the motor and/or regulators have gone out in my other vehicles, I can still hear them trying to work. The back vent windows haven't worked for a while but it wasn't really an issue since she never really used them that much.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think, but am not positive, that as my regulator was failing there was no motor sound, only the click. For a year or two I would just press the button multiple times and it would suddenly work.

If you do end up replacing the regulator/motor, here is a thread on it. http://www.odyclub.com/forums/24-19...y/156893-window-regulator-replacement-question-2002-ody-disconnect-battery.html

Regulators with motors are cheap and the repair is not hard. Shops charge a pretty good amount of labor to do the job. If you do, make absolutely sure you connect all the plugs properly - apparently two connectors can be plugged into the wrong socket, thus messing up other electrical parts. On mine, those were color coded, so not hard to keep straight.

You're gonna have to pull the door skin off and see if the motor is getting good ground and voltage when the button is hit. Could be the motor, could be a bad wire that constantly gets bent when closing/opening the door, could be the relay or it could be the child switch on the drivers door. you have to narrow it down or you'll just be throwing money at it.
