Here you go!! Couldn't get a STILL pic since the wave lengths of LED won't match up to FPS of the camera. So here's a VID.

If you can't see it. it actually works WELL, It's much better than the STOCK OEM YELLOW. Keep in mind that these 9005's LED will replace your HIGH BEAMS and that these particular LEDS aren't brighter than STOCK or HID. I've installed 55w HID in the headlights and they are BRIGHT enough for my use, I hardly use my HIGH BEAMS or just use them for "Flash to PASS" the LED's DO get BRIGHTER but not really used for distant lighting. For these DRL LED's it's more for looks and to be been in the day.

I Got the dreaded, DRL Check light so i bought the DRL harness with resistors and fixed the problem

This is mine, I'm still waiting for the decoder to get rid of the DRL warning in my dash.

Your Led Light is Much more brighter than mine, as You See on my pics. it looks like an ordinary bulb.

This is what I got from xenon
4 LEDs Each side and 2 in Front

Well Xenon sent me again another set of this to cheat the DRL warning on my dash

I have that on my h11 low beam HID
but I don't think I'll install this, it will be too much wire going to my battery and might give me trouble one day. Too bad Can't get a refund since I use the Lights already.

Nice write up, thank you sir.

I would be all over this if I don't already have Philip 8-LED DLR and pulled the DLR fuse :D

Thank you Oggie50, much appreciated. I have the order ready to be submitted along with the resistive harness. Now do you have a recommendation on HID for the main light to match the brightness/whiteness of the 9005 bulbs you recommended? I might order those also for my 2011 Ody.

TIA

The DRL are NOT on when the headlights are ON. DRL are more of a COOL WHITE/BLUE, They turn off with the headlights, I went with 5K 55w for headlights and 5k 35w for the fogs. Keep in mind that the DRL LED are 50% power and when the highbeams are on go to 100% power. Still not bright enough to use for distance. The 55w headlights are bright enough, LED/DRL's are good just to be noticed.

H11 for both headlights and fog. 9005 for DRL. Definitely an upgrade over STOCK

Hi Oggie50,

Can you provide a link to the low beam HID you bought?

I appreciate it!

Hi Oggie50,

H11 for Low Beams 55W Ballast (with factory projectors)
H11 for Fogs 35W Ballast
9005 LED DRL's -----> DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting

DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting

Just select 55w for Low Beams and 35w for Fogs, NO need for mounting brackets, HID Harness (it already comes with them), NO Error Eliminator, NO Adapter Cables

Let me know if you have any questions!!

Also, Get these for your License Plate, Nice touch as it is very BRIGHT!! LED DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting

DO NOT get 55w for the lows or put HIDs in your fogs. 35w is plenty bright for driving unless you're half blind and can't see at night. HIDs aren't intended to go into the fog housings either. Both will blind oncoming drivers. So, for the sake of safety, please don't do it.

55w is okay for LOW and the cut off line for the projectors that are made for halogens works WELL and has NO problems blinding other drivers. 35w for the FOGS are FINE, again, it doesn't blind people and just fills in the area where the LOW beams to get. I agree a Projector made for HID's is the better way to go But the ODY headlight/fogs are fine. Some applications in which don't reflect well will def. scatter the light and BLIND people. I tried the 35w and was too DIM in these housings and have upgraded to 55w.

But remember i'm using DDMTUNING stuff 55w @ $39.99/kit and not the Morimoto High End stuff for $140.00/kit. So maybe that's the BIG difference you are talking about. Also when aimed properly you won't have issues with other drivers, Heck, i run Rigid Industries Dually's FLOOD on my truck and have NO issues.

question, how is this an upgrade since current LED technology isnt enough to truly replace a high beam in terms of distance and output?

im still struggling to find a proper solution to have both white DRL and white high beam to match the LED low-beams I have already
