Hey,
My 08 DVD player messes up Disney movies. They show in black-and-white with a rolling screen. Other movies are fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
I had to do a repair on it shortly after we bought it, and I can't remember if we tried Disney movies before the repair or not...

Are these original Disney DVD's? or are they *ahem* backups?

It sounds like you are trying to play a PAL coded video on an NTSC display. (At least if you have a US version of the ody)

What is the country code on the DVD. What was the fix you had to make? Unfix it and see if it fixes it.
