If they do it like the computer manufacturers do with laptop displays, the determination of whether it's defective depends on how many pixels are bad and where they are. It's usually something like a certain overall number bad on the display, or some number of them close together. TFT displays are hard to manufacture and yields are not perfect -- one or two bad pixels sucks to look at but may not qualify for replacement.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by mrdasu:
