Have burned out pixels in the display.

Honda Corp. says it is not a defect.

Any suggestions ?

Any similar experiences ?

If they do it like the computer manufacturers do with laptop displays, the determination of whether it's defective depends on how many pixels are bad and where they are. It's usually something like a certain overall number bad on the display, or some number of them close together. TFT displays are hard to manufacture and yields are not perfect -- one or two bad pixels sucks to look at but may not qualify for replacement.

Wow, you've got to have pretty good eyes to spot a couple dead pixels in 336,960!

Many of the quality manufacturers of these 7" screens are claiming a "99.99% effective picture elements" rating as a minimum. For a 7" TFT screen, that means they allow for up to 34 dead pixels.

in my dispaly, in 1 group, the size is just less than 2 mm. it looks like bright blue dot. I think human eye can see 2 mm unless if someone is legally blind !
