While driving our 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L, the engine loses all acceleration for 2-4 seconds while driving between 30-70 mph. Just before it happens there is somewhat of a grinding noise followed by not being able to accelerate at all for a couple of seconds, the rpms drop to below 1000, then the engine will revert back to normal.
I do not believe it's a transmission issue because even if I depress the accelerator the engine will not rev up. The car doesn't turn off either. The only thing that happens is the engine refuses to rev up. I do not use ECON mode.
Any ideas?
