Hey all 08 ex-l with 180k. My van has been alternating between telling me to check the fuel cap and a check engine light about my evap purge valve. Replaced the valve and got a OEM cap, took off the o ring on the cap and put some moly coat on it just for peace of mind and it’s still showing me replace fuel cap messages. It needed a smog and a new battery so I replaced the battery but now the drive cycle won’t complete because of the code! Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

How are you verifying your drive cycle? With the key, or with a scanner?
