Maybe I should swing by a dealership and look at a few other 2011s to answer this question, but if a few folks could respond with their observations, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

In short, I find that when I put down the 3rd row seats into the floor, the cargo area isn't exactly flat. The seat backs are slightly raised in the cargo well meaning there is a slope from there to the back of the 2nd row seats. And therefore, the cargo mat is also raised toward the tailgate and then slopes down a bit closer to the 2nd row seats. Do other folks have the same thing? Or are your 3rd row seats folding completely flat into the cargo area? Do I need to have these seats adjusted or is that just how it is?

Thanks.

In the 3rd gen, they don't really mean EXACTLY flat, but the seats are out of the way and allows for the most cargo space possible. The Chrysler vans have a really flat floor, but they sacrificed the comfort of the seats.

Yes, thanks!

Glad to hear I don't have a defect. I'm sure there probably a few discussions at Honda about whether/how to get them actually flat... but comfort is important too.

Thanks again.
