So I bought a F22b Mugen Header off craigslist for $50. The only problem was it did not come with the lower half to go to the cat. SO this is what I did.

I took all stock manifold off and the lower half of the manifold off the cat and started measuring. I removed the stock heat shield of the lower half with a plasma cutter.

Once the stock heat shield was off I started figuring out how much I had to cut off the lower pipe.
Found out I needed to remove about 4.25 inches.

Finished cut.

Now I used the stock flange off the down pipe and cut the rest of the 4.25 inch material off. I needed the flange as smooth as possible. I also hole matched the Mugen Header holes in the flange.

F22B Mugen Header cont.

Got the flange ground down and ready to test fit on down pipes. Had to heat them up a little to fit just right. After a little heat and prying, they fit perfect inside the flange holes.

Welded the flange to the pipes and welded the brace that gets mounted to the back of the block around the pipe. See pics. It will be seen better then explained.
