Carbon Fiber hoods look good on a Honda i dont care what kind of Honda it is, all of the hoods are made for cars though, if i was to custom make a Carbon fiber hood for my 04 that would be cool but expensive, also probably wouldnt lighten it up much cause its already a tank so........ this one was the testor it will be redone with a bigger piece of material to cover the entire hood,
first fixed all the rock chips (it was ugly), sprayed it Satin black no wet sand and layed out my material ( i used a large non slip mat that goes under an area rug cost $12 at Canadian tire), made sure it was nice and flat and sprayed it with gunmetal lightly, then wet sanded and clear coat, wet sand and polish, next time ime going to use smoke taillight tint as my clearcoat to give it a little more 3D look...
