My wife and I have owned three Odysseys: a 2004, 2010, and a 2018. The front seat head rests in the 2018 (fifth gen) model are terribly uncomfortable, the least comfortable of the three models. They force my head forward to the point of causing back pain within minutes. I've seen posts that suggest the front seat head rests in the fourth gen are also uncomfortable, pushing the head too far forward and with no forward/rearward adjustment. I'm sure it's supposed to be a safety feature to prevent whiplash. That's fine, but if the car is so uncomfortable to drive that I sell it and get something else, Honda missed the point altogether. I've been meaning to have the head rests fixed at an upholstery shop, but today I found a less expensive solution: pull the head rests out and turn them around. I hope this post can help other fifth generation Odyssey owners.
