Firestick input for the RES

I’m sure I’m years late to the game, but I just figured out that I can utilize the Amazon Firestick for those long car rides. I just turn on my phones hotspot (unlimited with T-Mobile), and connect the firestick and it’s all ready for streaming.

I use a similar setup on my '06 with Kodi installed on a Raspberry Pi 3.

Tip:
For a tidier installation, route the video cable into the spare tire well.
You can route the power cable through the jack storage and up into the spare tire.
Sometimes, the video adapter can be powered through the HDMI cable - no external USB power needed.

good idea!
I actually got a cheap adapter that does need the USB power cable. Also, I use the firestick in my house daily. Not sure if the spare tire well is as swift to install and remove.
