The dealer I'm getting my '02 Ody through has said he would get the factory accessories I want at his "cost" (I'm a little skeptical). I can handle the install of the few mods I want for now-mudguards, cargo mat etc. but the foglights I'm not sure of. Anyone install these and what did you pay for them? I suspect H and A Accessories could do better than his "cost", but if he will install them too, well.... Any advice is appreciated!

I paid a little less than $290 (included shipping). Installation isn't terribly difficult, especially if you look at the pictures in the Tech section and my installation notes

Hi Ody,

The price I paid was similar to Mel's. I got them during a special that H and A was having at the time. I'm not sure if those prices are good any more.

The installation is not difficult. The only part that made me nervous was cutting out the areas required to fit the lights into the front facia of the car. This didn't turn out to be a big deal, it's just that I'm always uncomfortable cutting into a part that will be so blatantly obvious if I goof it up. All went well however and the rest of the install (running wiring looms and hooking up connectors) was very straight forward and presented no unusual problems.

I can confirm the wisdon of reviewing Mel's notes on this installation. He made some worthy observations that helped me a great deal. Also, Chuck has some useful mods to the fog lights wiring loom that expand their operational parameters that are kind of nice. His comments, along with pictures, can be seen in the "Tech" section.

I plan to buy my fog lights at H&A. I called several Honda service for installation pricing. The cheapest I found was 1.5 @ 72.5/hr which was what his Honda book said. Another was for 2 hr @ the same price. Three others said 3 hours.

Of course all said that they will only install Genuine Honda fog lights only.

Thanks for the info! H and A lists them for $306-I assume this includes switch, relay etc. I'll see what kind of deal I can get from the dealer on my accessories, but I suspect I will end up getting them myself and with all the help from Odyclub, I have no excuse for not being able to do the install myself!

I will definitely be performing Chuck's mods so I can have more options for the foglight operation.
