I sold my 2000 Odyssey with a dead transmission for a song, enough was enough, I bought a 2006 Sienna, drove it for 6 months and just traded it in for a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The van is great, very roomy, smooth drive. I test drove both the Sienna and the 2010 Ody. The Odyssey has very noticible road/wind noise to it, not sure if it was the tires or just that van, I found the build quality of the Odyssey to be better then that of the Sienna, but it also cost a lot more too. Toyota was offering all the same features minus the DVD in a 2011 model that Honda was offering on a 2010 at a $7000 price difference. After owning 2 Honda V6 vehicles with crap transmissions I choose the Toyota. How wise my decision was is yet to be seen. Overall I'm happy and enjoy the van, also bought the extra warranty so I should happy for at least 6 years.

Congratulations on your new van, what model did you get an LE?

The Sienna is quieter and smoother, but the Ody did handle better.

Wow, I find the $7000 difference hard to believe. What models were you comparing? XLE vs. EX-L?

don't forget the OP is in canada - where honda is seriously messed up on the pricing front. the new sienna's are way cheaper than the comparable ody's up here.
