Front Camber 12'T

498 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  phattyduck
My tires are showing wear on the outside edges. So I'm thinking too much positive camber, as the tow seems fine using the tape measure method. Does anyone know what the normal camber specs are for the front?

You can buy camber bolts to straighten up the tires.

I'm going to perform a full frontal suspension inspection today. I will update this thread with my findings. Thanks for all the help.
If only I knew what those numbers mean. I'm thinking +45 is rounded off to positive .5 camber? Math to me is like criptenite to superman.
Ughhm if you don't know what the numbers mean you probably need an alignment shop. Mevotech has a nice explanation.

Like @Milanomike says these numbers are specifications as they relate to a dedicated, VERY expensive alignment station. Doesn't mean anything to a DIYer because we don't have these racks, shops do.

No, the range is centered on 0* camber. Max is +0.45* and Min is -0.45* for the front
Rear is -0.75* to +0.15*.

Expect the rear to be on the high side, and that's ok. You can slightly adjust the front by pushing and pulling on things as you assemble the suspension, but there is no actual adjustment other than toe. Same on the rear unless you get adjustable upper arms (or camber bolts for the front).
