looks like its service manual time for you...
😁

Good day.' I saw this thread as the fuel door cable on our 2015 Odyssey was broken at the front lever. I was able to access the manual which is helpful and I am thankful for that share. I was unable to find a section that helped with the cable but I want to relate my experience. The cable is easy to replace with patience. The cable follows the edge of the van carpet and is housed beneath the trim plastic. The plastic is removed sequentially by gentle pulling directly away from the body. The pieces are held with plastic snaps and do not have any screws. The most difficult piece to identify the way to remove is the back panel at the side of the rear seat. I gained confidence in the way to remove it by looking at the back side image of a replacement panel. The image shows that there are around six pins. To remove it I tugged at the top of the panel. This is the section that in some models has a pull up screen or an insert where it would be. I did not need to remove the panel completely as when pulled halfway I could see the path the cable makes as it turns into the opening that leads to the fuel door. There is a second item in this area. It is the switch that locks out the door opener This did not need to be removed to access the cable but may be twisted out and space to feed the new cable in may be gained. The new cable has marks and attached anchors that make lining up the new cable easy, Once the new Honda cable was reinstalled, from rear to front, I only made a small adjustment to the latch bracket. It needed a slight bend to allow the door to open consistently. The entire installation job, once I realized where the cable fits, took around an hour. Finding how to open the panels was the most difficult part. I hope this is helpful.
Thanks for posting...

Im curious... did the ferule snap off at the cable end where it inserts at the lever?
