I took straps off of fuel tank to lower tank down so I could change the fuel pump, but the tank wouldn't lower, It felt solid against the body. I don't see anything else holding the tank other then the straps? thanks for any help you can give me:huh:

pry it its just stuck thats all .. use a 2x4 to do this as it will not make any sparks. had to do this to my first gas tank when i replaced it , after that it wont be stuck again, so if you keep rubing holes in it from being to low like i was the nex time it will just fall out.

yes, they get stuck. pry til it jars loose.

I need to use a hammer and a pry bar to drop down the:flame: tank and I use a Walbro 255 fuel pump >>what pics u need yakusa:artist::dunno: Oo and the fast way to do it is removing a bar the tank have in the front and put the pry bar in the corner and hammer it slOOOow you don't want to make a hole.
