Here's my full interior upgrade with hids and reverse lights
Nice with the LEDs. Don't know about those plug and play HIDs.

People have complained how bright my interior lights are. If I ever drop a needle, I know I'll find it. Lol

Okay guys the http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MGI60RQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3S0HI8524HWX9 are to weak for me to put them in. There are 1 or 1 replacement in terms of power to the existing incandescent light. I wanted a lot more brighter light.

These didnt work either because they were to big. This was the replacement for the back trunk light. But again this light was 41 mm. The our back light is 31mm festoon light. http://www.amazon.com/Cutequeen-Trading-White-Lumens-Festoon/dp/B00NBH6814/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1429670806&sr=1-1&keywords=dome+light+5730+led

So I think I am going to go with something similar to 24-SMD board LED light. And use an adapter. to make it work.

BTW i did a measurement for the front map lights. I dont think we can put in anything more than 50x30mm with 5mm depth in there. So if you are going with a brighter onboard SMD lights look for something thats fits these ranges ONLY for the front 2 map lights.

The rear interior lights probably need even small LED lights. as they are not as big as the map light.

5K WHITE HIGH OUTPUT 21 LED BACK-UP LIGHT 7440 1000LM | 1 PAIR

Triton V3 is optional. That is for the front and rear blinkers. Mine are from VLEDs.com. It all depends on how much you're willing to spend. I spent over $400 on LEDs. If I didn't get the Tritons, it would be around $150-180. There are many other places that have LED bulbs. You just have to find the right part number such as 194, 921, 7443. The only thing I don't have listed on the list is a trunk dome light. It is 3175/DE3175.

What you pay is what you get. I'll pay a little extra and get quality bulbs with great output rather than pay cheap and save money only to spend more to replace a broken one or risk the LED catching on fire because of poor quality.

Am I just dumb, or do you have to take that center trim piece off of the tailgate to get access to the license plate bulbs? I saw the College Hills Honda video about how to disconnect the license plate bulbs - but I can't get the darn thing to come through that small opening so that I can get it out of the tailgate assembly?

I couldn't tell if it was my fat fingers or my tired brain causing the problem, but I thought I'd ask here if there's a trick that I'm overlooking.

Thanks in advance guys!

I think there is a cover in the middle of the tailgate on the inside. Just pop off the interior cover and twist the bulb socket off and change the bulb.

If it is from the outside, just use a flat head screw driver to help push the tabs in.

I knew there was a panel there. How else would that chrome garnish be removed?

Thanks to Rahul Dravid, and OahuOdy for tipsand comments on the Kolite leds. They (Kr-02) were perfect for my Ody 2015. I couldn't be even happier. I did try what baraynavab did and picked up 24 SMD panel that a vendor sold off Amazon. It has a 3M foam adhesive in the back to stick to the light housing. I found out it was even brighter than the Kolites and the light spread was even wider. Well considering there are more leds and it's panel instead of single led that should be a given but found it was too bright. It blinded me as I used it where the map lights were.

For anyone that was asking for the Honda light bulb sizing, I found a site that has one. I linked the 2015 version but you can get other years too.

I read the entire long thread thread and the Phillips website and just wanted to review the bulbs with someone who has done this before. It seems to be hard to figure out exactly which type of bulb for my 2016 even after all this reading.

#74 - glove box light (1)
#DE3175 - luggage compartment light (1)
#2825 - map light bulb (2)
#194 - interior door light bulb (2)
#168 - courtesy light bulb (4)

Are those correct? Mainly the number of 168 and 194. Are 168 the bulbs that go in the 2nd and 3rd row overhead lights? I will not upgrade the vanity lights.

Thanks guys.

Map light is 194.

194 and 168 are the same exact bulbs.

194/168 is what goes in the overhead in the 2nd and 3rd

Thank you for that. Just ordered from superbrightleds.com. Can't wait for brighter light, as we drive a lot at night with the lights on for feeding the kids, cleaning up, etc.

Also, lights get left on frequently and looking forward to the lower wattage use. This van is a power hog!

I bought a set from Amazon and it came with 3 spares: one spare that many others mention above, and then it seems that there was a design change for the front map light bulbs. So both options are provided. I presume the change occurred during the 2014 model refresh as some of the YouTube videos I've seen clearly show a different type of bulb than my 2016 TE uses.

I was able to replace all of the bulbs fairly easily. The only bulb missing is the glovebox bulb, which I haven't been able to find an LED replacement for.

I am sure some generics are cheaper. Saw some Amazon offers for the total group of 13 starting at 25.00 and received mixed reviews. In this thread, some went cheaper some said you get what you pay for. For me, I also wanted all the bulbs together at the same time for my convenience and I wanted from what I felt was a reputable source. After pricing single at other reviewed sites mentioned here like XenonDepot, superbright, etc, for 13 total bulbs it was more more in the long run. I also like the idea of ordering from Authorized Honda Dealer. Gives me little more piece of mind that the LEDs are being sold and tested with someone who works with Hondas.
