Nice upgrade. Ordered LED interior kit from College Hill Honda. 2 door lights, 2 map lights, 4 cabin (2nd and 3rd row), Liftgate, and visors. Much brighter white instead of dim yellow. Worth noting the map lights in the install video were "fuse" style and the actual ones were multi LED socket type.

Reviving an old thread, do the interior LED replacement bulbs need to be a canbus bulb for my 2011? I see two options on most websites when looking for interior LEDs. Most sites also only say some newer cars need the canbus but don't say if my car needs it.

Thanks

Excellent question. I just put non-CAN-bus LEDs in my 2014 and they're working fine.

I ordered the "natural white" LEDs from superbrightleds.com. They're great. I would not recommend any LEDs with a higher colour temperature (cooler/bluer.)

My Canadian 2014 SE (between LX and EX) does not have a glove compartment light.

Anyone have a bill of materials for this, a list of lights for a 2011 Ody EXL?

Some of these door lights and map lights are identical to the cargo lights and what have you. I can't tell how many of what to order.

Trying to get a list together, want to replace ALL interior stock lights with LED.

The first 3 are interior. Since the 194 came in pairs, I needed 6 (front map lights, 2nd and 3rd row). You probably want to get another pair for the door (I extras that I took off my totaled car). 3175 you only need one and that is for the rear trunk. And you'll need 4 bulbs for the visor mirror. I don't have bulb #'s for these. I purchase all my lights from VLEDs. They're a bit more expensive but they're bright as hell. Friends and family complain but when they drop something, they don't. Lol.

On my 2012 TE, did the LED upgrade, interior and exterior.
worth it.
got all of mine off amazon...
Used the Sylvania site to determine my bulb types.

Updated the rear plate and tail lights to LED and the cyclops brake light, and left the brake lights as standard incandescent bulbs (upgraded to brighter sylvania ones), since it snows here and LED produce no heat to melt off the snow.

I had a lot of issues with the tail light LED's (ones on the lift-gate) flickering in the cold, turned out the quality on that batch was no good, switched to another brand off amazon, and no issues with them.
Upgraded the driving daytime headlights to sylvania xenon, the main headlights are HID on the TE.
Upgraded the fogs to super bright 5000 lumen katur LED bulbs off amazon, wow what a difference when driving in pitch black.
They were a bear to install, as the super brights have fans and heat sinks that barely squeeze between the bumper support/ crash bar.
Needed to take the lens out install the bulb, then reinstall the lens, did this from behind in the wheel well, moving the plastic inner fender out of the way.
Everything was seized thanks to road salt.

One other thing to note is the middle rowo and rear interior reading lights require low profile LED replacements.

The whole setup cost me 170 bux canadian, and everything was plug and play.

My two cents...
