Just to fill everyone in. we now have 10,000+ miles on our '00 Odyssey, we've had it about 1.5 years now, and have had NO issues at all with it!
(crossing fingers)

the ONLY thing that I don't care for, but is easily remedied is the sliding doors stick on the weather stripping. I fix it with some silicone spray on occasion, but it's worse in the winter. I know one of the guys I know at Honda said they put some 'gook' on them because that was a known issue. better to seal tighter than not at all however

They use shinitsu grease on the door seals. I inquired about the sticking/sqeeky sliding doors while I was getting my alarm syst intstalled at my Honda dealership. They gave me a whole tube for free because I was in a hurry and it took the installer 4 hrs to do the alarm. It works great. They said it was the only stuff that wouldn't degrade the rubber over time.
