I took my 2008 Odyssey EX-L in for a recall notification. When I went to pick it up, the service manager had a list of maintenance items my car needed badly. These included a new timing belt, serpentine belt and brakes all around. The car had 82000 miles on it. All of the recommended work on his list including the timing belt, water pump, and oil pump had been replaced at 80000 miles. The brakes were less than two weeks old. This was a dealer in Fort Worth, Tx.
