For the past 8 years I've always had the dealer swap my summer/winter tires. This year I've purchased a proper torque wrench and will be swapping the tires myself in the driveway.

The main purpose of this post is to get some feedback on what I think the procedure should be, before doing the swap.

1. Loosen the lugs on the wheel
2. Jack up the vehicle (I'm gonna use the jack that comes with the van for now).
3. Remove the lugs and take off the wheel.
4. Put the winter tire on (making sure it's mounted showing the correct direction of rotation on the tire).
5. Put on the lugs and tighten
6. Lower vehicle and tighten lugs in star pattern to 94ft-lbs

I'm planning to by a stand and proper jack when they have them on sale, but figure the jack that came with the van will do. Just out of curiousity though, where would the stands go when the van is jacked up?

Feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
