After 11 years with an Odyssey in the garage and 23 years with at least one Honda in the driveway, I am officially bowing out of the OdyClub. We sold our 2005 Odyssey and bought an MDX.

This isn't a reflection of my attitude toward the Ody...more a reality that the kids are grown and our car pool days are gone. I will miss the functionality of a minivan and the helpful advice from the OdyClub.

Its kind of funny. There's as much emotional meaning in getting rid of your last minivan as there is in buying your first. At least the van went to a nice family.

My buddy has a Pilot and is looking at the MDX. The MDX is well regarded in functionality. The only thing that is really bugging him is that it is butt-ugly.

He will still probably get one.

Sweet. I started off with Acura and they always had great bells & whistles in addition to being more refined. You're still in the family. I had a 90 Legend coupe and that was a great car.

Moving from Honda to Acura is NOT leaving the family... it's just growing up!

I too have always had Hondas and Acuras since 1988 and they have served me well. :nice:
