Help finding windshield molding part #

Hello! I’m hoping this forum can once again help me out :)

I have a 2015 Odyssey EX that I purchased as a certified preowned a couple years ago from a dealer in OR. Recently I got a crack in the windshield and went to replace it today and was told that apparently the van’s windshield molding clips were broken and the molding was glued on.

Color me not happy since I bought it certified preowned. Be that as it may, I now need to replace the molding and the clips. The business that installed the windshield offered to install them for me if I supplied the parts. I’m going to attach a picture of my van where the taped part is what I need to replace is this the correct part that I need?

Also, who do people recommend as an online source to order from? My local dealership wanted $202 for both pieces of molding and the clips.

Thanks!

Check the online dealers like Bernardi and Majestic. Also look on the Honda eStore, it allows you to compare prices at various dealers in your area.

Also, don't leave that tape on your paint too long... I'd rather run without the moldings than leave the tape on there more than a few days.

yeah, gotta do the same on mine coz it appears the heat weld epoxy gets fatigued & brittle over time, & when it breaks, it breaks the clips too...but replacing (found the parts on ebay for about $50 delivered) might not be needed. as long as the whole of the clips are there, clear gorilla glue will work well enuf, & over the long term, better than the heatweld epoxy. that's what i'm gonna have done...along with taking down the rubber upper molding that came loose over the weekend in the 115f PHX sun. i'm not up for a $300 repair when a $5tube of CGG would prove as effective!!!
now the fun will be to get the white stickum from the ducktape off. 'goof off' i'm told.
