Anyone got a fix for a high pitched whine/screaching noise from the front, passenger side of the Ody?
My car is fine until the weather gets warm and I'm travelling at speeds over 65 miles per hour. Then, when the noise begins, it is incredibly piercing and irritating. Playing with the tyre pressures seems to have little effect.
My car is '01, on Michelin tires. My previous '00, on Firestone tires, was noisier at any speed, but never had the high pitched noise.
Apart from the aural problems the car is great, averaging between 20 and 25 miles per gallon and utterly reliable.
