Itchy trigger finger there eh?

 

This is a tricky process for some garage door openers. Plus the info in the quick start quide is incomplete. I had to call homelink with my Craftmans Door Opener. In short you have to go press the learn button on the door open power head.

 

Google Homelink and get the instructions off of their site. (it's made by Johnson Controls) There are also some detailed instructions in a thread here that can be found by searching. There are a lot of steps, especially for a rolling code door opener (all newer ones)

 

I followed the instructions from Homelink and programmed my Craftsman rolling code opener in just a few minutes. The longest part was getting out, climbing the ladder, and pressing the learn button on the opener.
