Wrong. If you sell your '01 or an '02 like I did to the dealer.
Honda Care will give who a prorated portion that wasn't used (mileage and age of car depending)

Steve,
This was confirmed by my contract, Honda Customer Care and Honda Care.

Paid $855 last Sept and will be getting back $700.00

If you cancel your Honda Care coverage before it expires you will receive a pro-rated refund based on how much time you have left on the coverage and the current mileage on the odometer. If you sell the vehicle you can transfer the coverage to the next private owner. Some dealers offer a money back guarantee if you purchase the Honda Care coverage and do not have any claims or have not used the Roadside Assitance benefits. This is a seperate policy and has nothing to do with Honda Care or Honda. The dealer cost for this is around $200. Once the policy expires you have 30 days to contact the refund company in writing and prove you are the current owner of the vehicle to receive a refund. If you do not remember and wait longer than 30 days you will not receive a refund.
