When I drying off the the underside of the hood the other day, I noticed that the foam rubber "gasket" under the hood--the one about 6-6" from the front edge--had come loose in a couple places. I was surprised that it didn't "clip" into a channel or was affixed by some other more secure method. It looks like it was just glued in a couple of places. Has anyone else seen this? I was just planning on reattaching it with some sort of adhesive. Any suggestions given the "harsh" environment under the hood?

Thanks for the tip. I checked mine and it was barely hanging on. Used a little super glue but I'll keep an eye on it. FYI, I also noticed that the rubber windshield trim was not snapped in properly up the driver's side A pillar. A little thumb pressure solved that problem. Sure hope that was the source of the intermittent buzzing noise I hear occasionally on hot days!
