How do dealers react to having to only top off fluids without an oil change?

At my dealer fluid checks would be part of a comprehensive mechanical inspection package e.g. hoses, belts, suspension, etc.

IIRC the price is $169. That's $169 too much for something I can do myself, but maybe acceptable to someone lacking the knowledge, time, etc. to do it themselves.

It also has the advantage of undeniable documentation in case of future warrantied issues or resale.

BTW, I've decided to use dot-4 when I replace the brake fluid in our Ody in the next month or so.

Keep in mind that DOT4 is more hygroscopic than DOT3, so it has a shorter lifespan.
