What I can tell you is there isn't one Honda I have owned that I have lost money on. Most of them I have made money on

If Honda made a full size 1 ton 4X4 diesel truck, I would sell my F350 Superduty 7.3L!
Wow you sound just like me. Everytime I finished making my Honda/Acura the way I wanted them. Someone would male me an offer I couldn't refuse.

If Honda made a truck I could tow with my 2500 series conversion van would be gone in a heart beat. Honda are you listening? I'm glad I'm not the only one.

2008 Fit 54k miles. No problems

Sorry to hear that Wild Willy, I guess they're not for everyone. They've always treated me well and made me money so no complaints here. Its funny because my moms 04 Ody hasn't given us any problems and she is approching 140k miles on the original trans. Did major maintenance timing belt, water pump etc @ 130k, The first trans drain and fill was done at 70K and second @ 130K.

1978 Honda Accord (bought used in 1983), 2 speed semi-auto transmission, red - had to wax every 3 months or the paint was completely oxidized, 2 head gaskets in 1.5 years, steering rack, ignition switch, many other things crapped out on that car. It was a POS!!! The oil filter and drain plug were on the front of the engine, it was extremely easy to change the oil. It was fun to drive. Had pockets at the sides of the back seats that had aftermarket replacements that held 6x9 speakers!

1987 Prelude (bought new), silver, totalled at 188k. Really wanted to get at least 200k out of it! It was a great car!! I hated to see it go.

1992 Civic DX, bought new, drove it off the lot on out honeymoon. Mixed feelings about this car. It had a mushy suspension (non-honda like), and a clutch with no feel - very hard to find where it grabbed. It got 49MPG in the first tank off the lot!! It averaged 40MPG over it's life! Sold at 157k when we bought the first Odyssey.

1998 Civic DX, blue (bought used in 2000). Bought when I totalled my Prelude. This is my daily driver, 198k miles. Still runs great but looks like hell.

2002 Odyssey LX, green. Bought after our daughter (3rd kid) was born. You can't get 3 car seats in the back of a Civic! Rebuilt transmission at 106k. Many other odd, but common with this model, problems. Just traded for the next Odyssey because my wife didn't trust it, it was having occasional odd transmission problems that were probably electrical..

2010 Odyssey LX, blue. Just traded the 2002 in for it. We've only had it for 1 day. Great so far.

Bump...

I'm up to 10 now.
Traded in the '91 Accord for a '12 Accord EX V6.
Bought a used '10 Accord LX for my daughter.
And just traded in the '99 Odyssey w/170K miles for a new '14 Odyssey EX-L.

Now 4 of the 5 cars in my fleet are blue (the '10 Accord is Polished Metal).
And 3 of the 5 cars have automatic transmissions! :(

I've owned an 86 Civic Wagovan bought in my senior year of high school in 2001, an 85 Civic Wagon DX from 2003 to 2005, and an 88 Civic Wagon RT4WD in 2007, all manual. The RT4WD was my absolute favourite but 12 days after I bought it, a guy ran a red light and totalled it.

So 7 years later I'm back in the Honda game with what seems to be a natural grown up progression to the 3 Civic wagons that preceded it.

I had a '97 Accord EX with the V6 engine - loved, loved, loved that car!
Now I have an '03 Odyssey, no idea what trim level, but so far, so good!
