Currently I have 7 Hondas, two of which are automatic, but one of the two is having a 5 spd put in shortly. Previously... ummm out of like two dozen Hondas, only one other comes to mind as having been an automatic.

We have owned 14 since 1987. Newest is 2018 Odyssey EX-L. Only owned it a month but first to second gear seems harsh. Anyone else having any problems with the new Odyssey 9 speed transmission?

Well, a guy in an 18-wheeler demolished the 2012 Civic our son drives at college, so we got another one.

Have to revise the list, now.

1986 Civic CRX HF
1993 Accord LX
1998 Accord LX
2001 Odyssey EX
2002 Odyssey EX (still have this one, wife's van, will probably sell it soon, as kids are driving and leaving the nest)
2003 Odyssey EX (mine, refuse to give it up)
2012 Civic EX (destroyed by careless big rig driver on surface street while son was stopped, waiting for traffic to clear...he was not injured, amazingly)
2012 Civic LX (replacement for above Civic)

Honda GVC160 engine on a vintage Snapper 21" Hi-Vac mower...great improvement over the previous, worn-out engine.
Honda EU3000is generator...love this piece of emergency bad weather gear.

A Honda-powered pressure washer is in our future.

As for my family.. two:
2002 Gold Odyssey
2010 Blue Odyssey (Braun wheelchair side-entry van)
I had mostly chevy's before but our last chevy, a van, left me hating current american cars (still love the classics from decades ago).

I also have two honda generators - eu2000i's. One is a backup to the other in case.

My parents had a couple of hondas years ago. They leased one or two back in the 90's.. 4 door civics (a maroon one and a black one). They also had an 80 something white 4 door civic that one of my brothers and I would share

My oldest brother had an 80's or 90's civic hatchback for a long time. He also had a civic or 4 door accord that was in multiple fender benders but kept going. I don't think there was a single body panel that wasn't hit (I remember being the car for one of them when he reached over for pop tarts and side swiped a guard rail!). Both were still running when they sold em'... probably sold to a high school or college kid. I want to say he also had a honda from the 70's or very early 80's but I can't be sure.

My younger brother currently has a 4th gen Odyssey. My older brother's wife currently has a civic.

Six. I had a little bronze Civic and a gray Accord in the hazy past (mid 80s?). Bought my first used vehicle, from a private seller, in 1994, it was a '92 Acura Integra. That car drove, and drove, and drove! Meanwhile, I got a 2002 CPO Acura 3.5 RL, in white. It was our family "touring" vehicle for years, really comfortable on long rides. And now we have the 2016 Odyssey and a 2017 Civic Sedan in the garage.

I just joined the forum here, but will be posting a quick intro soon!

Too many. 1996 Civic, 2001 Accord, 2009 Civic Hybrid, 2004 Odyssey, 2011 Civic, 2012 Odyssey, 2013 Accord, 2016 Pilot, 2018 Odyssey. They have all been great cars with no mechanical issues - just routine maintenance.

3: 90 CRX 5MT, 97 Accord EX-L wagon, 00 Odyssey EX. This will be my last Honda. I swore the Accord was my last until we needed a 6+ seater bigger than my V70 and the Mazda5. Besides 99-04 Odysseys, the only other non-11 mpg Suburban/Tahoe I can stomach is the Ford Flex, which was too new and out of the price range I wanted to pay for a vehicle only used when all 6 of us go out. I went in knowing the tranny issues, picked up a $900 Ody with EVERY record ever done, and put a lot into it. We will keep it until this tranny gives, they replace it with something smaller but just as capable towing...or a truck.
BTW, the reason I am done with Honda has to do with my general dislike of owning a vehicle that needs to go see a mechanic a good 2x/yr. Whether it be routine maintenance, little things that go wrong, etc, seems I was putting $300-$500 into the CRX and Accord every 6 mos. Never had that with Subaru or Volvo, and even the Mazda, which does break a bit more often, is cheaper to service (usually its motor mounts or something else cheap that I can do myself). And all three: the Accord, the V70 and the first Subaru Legacy all were purchased with the same mileage and years of service. I know not everyone has my track record, so no reason to rebut me. Just what I have gone through.

81 Accord
2002 Odyssey
2004 Civic
2013 Civic

Now considering a new Accord but still undecided. I am skeptical of the 4 cylinders.
