I haven't had to do it yet, but if it is like other OBDII vehicles, you can disconnect the battery (not a good idea unless you have your radio codes handy), or use a scan tool to reset the system.

Are you talking about the actual check engine light or the "maintenance required" indicator.

The owners manual instructs you on how to turn off the latter. As for the check engine light, I'm not sure.

Don't take out the fuse.
Check nemogira's postings and you will find the answer.

For 02 Ody, it states:
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON(II).
3. Hold the button until the indicator resets (approximately ten seconds).

Found the info on page 70, under GAUGES.
Hope to have an Ody in about a month, if i can find a dealer that will not play games with me(I'm not really looking right now, but will in about 2 weeks). I printed out the 400 page owners manual and i'm only upto page 118, hope to read it all befor i get my Ody.

This thread is almost 6 years old. Resetting the light doesn't fix the problem that triggered the light to begin with. You should fix the problem and then clear the light, otherwise it will just come back on.
