Does anyone know how to completely disable Apple Car Play? We've noticed that when we use Waze and have the phone plugged in for power, if you're listening to any other audio Car Play will completely take over any time Waze tries to speak. We would just like to completely disable it since we haven't found a redeeming reason to use it.

Thoughts?

Would charging your phone with the cigarette lighter eliminate this problem?

Of course that's an option, but it's annoying to have another thing protruding from the dash. We'd rather just have the cable tucked away in the console until needed.
