How do you Identify which model a Honda Odyssey is ? My 2003 does not have any markings on the outside ? When I see an Odyssey is there a way to tell which model it is ?

THANKS and HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! ReBOB :)

I might be wrong, but I think you need to look at the interior equipment - if it has power sliding doors and automatic climate control it's an EX. If it doesn't it's an LX. Add leather seats --> EX-L.

Alloy wheels might also indicate EX versus LX, but many owners upgrade those anyway.

1999-2001 Odysseys have red rear turn signals

2002-2004 Odysseys have amber rear turn signals

the 3 exterior differences between an LX and an EX for second generation Odysseys

1. EX - factory wheels (5 spoke 1999-2001, 7 spoke 2002-04)
LX - standard equipment hubcaps

2. EX - standard equipment roofrack sides
LX - blank on roof (could be dealer added)

3. EX - pockets around door handles body color
LX - pockets around door handles black

The LX has black mirrors, steel wheels with hubcaps, no power drivers seat, regular (Not automatic) A/C, and did not come with the roof rack standard.

EX has the painted mirrors, alloy wheels, power seats, auto a/c, roof rack.

EX-L has leather interior.

It's also encoded in the VIN (well, sort of!) - see the sticky:

After reading the several posts, did you still have a question Carter2856 ?
