Unfortunately our 2019 EX-L was backed into another car at low speed and now there’s a fist sized dent in the plastic rear bumper on the corner and some minor paint damage. I got an estimate for repair that included a new paint and clear coat for the bumper and feel that it’s way too high ($3k) for the amount of damage actually done. I’d like to be able to just push on the dent from the inside and since it’s plastic hoping that it would pop back into the correct shape with only a few small scratches. Does anyone know how I can efficiently get access to the inside of the bumper to push it back out? I imagine I would need to pull the bumper off though I’m not sure.
