Watching NBC Sunday night around 9:18 pm CDT I saw a brand new 2002 Odyssey commercial. It shows a woman sitting in the back of a Starlight Silver EX-L watching a movie on the DVD Entertainment System. The movie is a real tear jerker and the mom begins to cry. About that time the door of the van opens and there stands two young girls dressed in tights. The mother starts wiping tears from her eyes and collects her composure and says "How was dance practice?"

I think the only feature it talks about is the DVD player. Nothing about the more powerful engine, side air bags, 4 wheel disc brakes, etc. etc. At least I don't think it did. I was kind of in shock to see a Honda Odyssey commercial.

Has any body else seen this commercial or any other 2002 Odyssey Commercials?

I'm amazed that Honda spends ANY money advertising these things. I have to wait three months to get one, and they need MORE buyers? Yikes.

I caught the tail end of this commerical the other day. I thought Mom wasn't letting the kids in until her movie was over. I haven't seen it in its entirety.

Yes I've also seen that one a number of times. Have also seen one where the man and his wife are in their bath robes driving a
small child whose fallen asleep in the second
seat, the man lets the wife out and after she has taken a couple steps he pokes the kid so he starts crying, then the wife gets back in and they start to drive some more.
Expect he couldn't get enough driving the new Ody.
