i have some areas that are starting to rust--such as the door seems. to fix it "right" would take more time than i have now--especially since i had previously sprayed a wax rust preventer there.
I had an idea to put some anti-seize grease there as a quick fix to keep the rust from getting worse. This grease has zinc in it. I also have some "aluminumized" marine grease--but its very old--as in decades.

Google Fluid Film. Buy either a couple spray cans or a gallon jug. If you get the gallon than get a nice squirt oiler for the fluid film. It's quite thick.
The Fluid Film works very well and is well worth the money. Squirt the FF into any and all openings, cavities, etc. Get all the suspension bolts soaked. The rust will stop so long as the FF is there.
I've been using it for many years and all I can say is that it works to stop the rust.
