Hi all, my first post to the group. I am
looking to purchase a cargo mat for my 2001
EX. I was told by honda that the only
cargo mat required the magic seat to be
"hidden" and the second row of seats to
be removed. I am looking for a mat that can
be used with the magic seat "hidden" and
the second row of seats in place. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To no one's surprise, the dealer is wrong. The honda cargo mat covers the area from the back of the third seat floor mat to the liftgate, with the third seat in the well.

, but the mats pictured are Weathertech and I don't have the cargo mat. I just use some matching (more or less) cheap carpet to protect that area when I need it. I have two pieces and I just keep them rolled up under the third seat until needed.

I have one, and it's great! I'd like it if it reached all the way to the back of the 2nd row, but, overall, it's very good!

Weathertech has cargo liners aka cargo mats from 2nd seat all the way up to the truck. You could get it at roadworksauto.com. It will cost you $129. + $8 shipping.
